recently started reading this book: The Purpose Driven Life-Rick Warren.. not sure if anyone heard of it before but anyway this book is a christian book.. yeah.. so it's more of like telling u e purpose of your life on earth and it takes 40 days to understand e real purpose of your life.. i guess i want to share a part of e chapter with u guys=)

well let's see... this book is definitely not talking about u because e purpose of life is far greater than my own personal fulfillment, peace of mind, or even my happiness.. it's far greater than my family, career or even some wild dreams of mine.. i guess e search for e purpose of life has puzzled many people for thousands of years and that's because we all typically begin at e wrong starting point-OURSELVES.. focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life's purpose and we cannot arrive at our life's purpose by starting with a focus on ourselves.. e main thing is that we must focus on God and then u will understand that life will never make sense without God e creator.. it is only in God that i can really discover my origin, identity, meaning, purpose and significance.. thus i think every other path leads to a dead end.. then how do i discover e purpose that i am created for??

oh man... as i read further on in e book.. e author suggested only 2 options which are speculation and revelation.. e first option is normally what most people choose because they conjecture, guess and they theorize.. as for e second option, we can turn to what God has revealed about life in his Word.. it goes e same for discovering my life's purpose: Ask God.. it appeared to me out of a sudden that without God life makes no sense and i hope i can walk into e light of His glory..

for conclusion.. i was thinking about my purpose and a point to ponder is: it's not about me.. as well as a question to consider: in spite of all e advertising around me, how can i remind myself that life is really about living for God and not myself??erm.. good question right??as for now i guess i am gonna think about all these things i have read and hope i can digest them in my mind...
